A Defiance man has been indicted by a Defiance County Grand Jury on a felony charge of involuntary manslaughter, stemming from a drug overdose death.   Prosecuting attorney Morris Murray reports 32 year old Robert Kramer of Defiance has been indicted for the first degree felony, alleging that Kramer sold Heroin to Jimmie Mattney, who died of a heroin overdose in late December 2013.  That finding was confirmed by an investigation and autopsy that followed Mattney’s death.   The indictment alleges Kramer is responsible for Mattney’s death due to Trafficking in Drugs.

Robert Kramer was arraigned after the indictment in Defiance County Common Pleas court, and is being held on a cash bond of $200,000.  Another appearance is scheduled in court on Monday.  Jimmie Mattney was found dead at his residence on Baltimore road in Defiance.
