By a split vote, the Henry County Commissioners have approved the transfer of an historic piece of the county fair.  During their session today (Tues.), commissioners authorized the prosecutor to draw up that transfer, which would hand-over ownership of the old gazebo at the fairgrounds, to the Henry County Historical Society. 


The Henry County Commissioners were joined by county engineer Tim Schumm, in viewing drainage along road L in the Florida area.  No major issues were discovered; but crews will be monitoring the situation for drainage problems in the future.


The HenryCounty board reviewed their contract for health care coverage with the BORMA group, which is a risk-sharing self insurance pool.  That contract runs through December 2015. 


There were executive sessions to discuss personnel and pending litigation; but no action was taken after either closed door meeting.           


                        And the Henry County Commissioners approved a contract with Panning Excavating to demolish a home at 560 Summit Street in McClure, as part of the Moving Ohio Forward program.  The cost will be $6,600.
