For years, the HenryCountySeniorCenter board has been looking at a new location for their center and activities.  The current location is a former grocery store, and offers limited space.

At one time, the building committee for the HenryCountySeniorCenter looked at the soon-to-be-vacant CD Brillhart Elementary school facility in Napoleon.   But it now looks like they may be headed a different direction, says senior center director Sandy Blackwood.   The latest estimates show it would cost more to rehab the CD Brillhart building (3-million dollars) than it would to construct a smaller new facility.

The end of this month a feasibility study will wrap-up, looking at the potential financial support for a new senior center site in HenryCounty.  That could lead to a capital campaign to raise money for a new facility.
