For the second consecutive month, sales tax revenues were higher than the corresponding month in 2013 for HenryCounty.   Kevin Garringer, HenryCounty auditor reports the July sales tax receipts topped $346,000, which is a 4.4% increase over last year at this time.   It’s also believed-to-be the highest figures ever recorded for July in HenryCounty.    Sales tax revenues generally reflect the local sales from three months before.     Thus far in 2014, sales tax revenues are running about $10,000 ahead of last year’s pace after seven months of receipts.
