A late night blaze at a recycling facility in North Baltimore Thursday sent 10 fire departments to the scene in WoodCounty. Police Chief Baer reports the flames were discovered in the pallet area of the plant around 11pm last night on West Broadway Street. A building was destroyed along with numerous pallets and plastics. One home was evacuated in North Baltimore, and 8 other families were on standby. The blaze is considered suspicious in nature at HPJ Industries, and the state fire marshall’s office has been called-in for the investigation. There were no injuries reported; as fire departments from Findlay to Bowling Green, and numerous crews in between fought the flames for about 4 hours.
