The Liberty Center school board of education nailed down some final employment action, as they get ready to open school next Monday, August 25th.       Christopher Cochrane was approved as a special education teacher; and three aides in the classroom were awarded contracts, including Karen Riester, Cynthia Oberhaus, and Erica King.   New regulations require aides to have completed a certificated program.

The new varsity baseball coach at LibertyCenter is Ryan Zeiter, replacing Paul Amstutz who stepped down.      And contracts were approved on the basketball coaching staff, including Glenn Badenhop as jv coach, Jessie Miller at the freshman level,  Todd Spangler as 8th grade coach, and Shawn Wymer for 7th grade.

A number of volunteers were also approved for coaching slots.

And look for some movement on LibertyCenter’s school building project.   Contracts with architects and the Ohio School Facilities Commission will likely happen in the coming months.
