A number of personnel matters were tackled Thursday morning at a special meeting of the NapoleonAreaSchool board of education, along with more action on a football bleacher project.   The board hired Josh Meyer in an administrative contract as athletic director and assistant principal.

A number of teachers were hired by the Napoleon board, including Ben George of Deshler as high school social studies instructor.  George will also be coaching in the athletic programs.

Tom Palmer will be the new career based intervention teacher, replacing Joe Good, who moves to a middle school physical education position.

Alyssa Bergstedt was approved as an intervention specialist at the high school.

The Napoleon school board also finalized a change-order for the visitors bleacher project at Buckenmeyer Stadium.  This will add over $36,600 to the project due to additional stamped concrete work, and the addition of a handicapped accessible ramp.
