A team from Patrick Henry FFA recently competed at the state FFA Food Science and Technology Career Development Event, taking 5th place in the state. The competition included an objective test, a practicum in food safety and quality, a sensory evaluation, along with a team product development project. The Patrick Henry FFA team included Anna Schmenk, Becca Geer, Matt Rader, Joel Sonnenberg, and Josh Myers. Becca Geer also placed in the top 10 in the state individually. Abby Readshaw is the FFA advisor at Patrick Henry; and the event was sponsored by OhioStateUniversity.
