The highway patrol investigated a fatal motorcycle accident Sunday evening on U.S. 24. The crash occurred near the route 295 exit on U.S. 24 at 5:58pm last night. 48 year old Todd Switzer of Paulding was eastbound on the highway, and lost control of his motorcycle, striking an embankment, where the bike flipped over. Todd Switzer suffered critical injuries; and was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers report he was not wearing a helmet.
