FATAL CRASH ON U.S. 24 NEAR WATERVILLE

The Henry County Sheriff’s office is investigating multiple thefts from Tuesday.  Some county roadway signs were stolen, and then recovered.  The signs were found along road 1-D around 7:15 yesterday.

                   Some wooden pallets were stolen from a business along road 17-D west of Napoleon in a report filed around 8am Tuesday.

          And a shoplifting incident sent Henry County deputies to 148 Railway Avenue in Holgate at noon yesterday.

A McClure resident reported their home was broken into in a burglary along state route 65 around 3pm Tuesday.  A laptop computer was stolen from the home.

And an arrest was made last night following an altercation on road U near Liberty Center just after 8pm.  32 year old Maria Culler of Liberty Center was charged with Domestic Violence.  Culler was transported to the regional jail.

A fatal accident was investigated by the highway patrol on U.S. 24 near Fallen Timbers last night around 7pm.  24 year old Omar Saleh of Dearborn, Michigan was killed in the crash.  Troopers report he was not wearing a seat belt.

Some arrests were reported in the city of Napoleon on Tuesday.  At 4:14pm yesterday, Angela Cullen and Robert Conley were both taken into custody, and transported to CCNO.   Cullen is charged with Complicity in Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.  Conley was charged with Theft.

Just after 5pm Tuesday, 25 year old Brandon Bailey of Napoleon was charged with Domestic Violence, along with Child Endangering, in a complaint from 900 Oakwood Avenue.  Bailey was held at the regional jail.
