The highway patrol investigated an injury accident on U.S. 24 in the foggy conditions Sunday night in Defiance County. The crash occurred at 8pm on route 24 near Flory Road between Napoleon and Defiance. Jeffrey Hahn of Defiance was one of the drivers, and suffered injuries; along with a passenger in the other vehicle, Joshua Finfrock of Cecil. Finfrock was transported to Defiance Regional Medical Center; and Hahn was taken to Mercy Hospital in Defiance. South Richland and Jewell rescue squads were both dispatched to the scene; and Sheriff’s departments in Henry and Defiance County assisted.
