The Defiance County Commissioners liked the looks of the bids they opened for the senior and veterans pavilion project at the county fairgrounds.There were 3 bids submitted, and all three were well-below the engineer’s estimate of $228,600 for the project.The lowest bid turned-in was a company from Hicksville at about $113,000, and the highest was about $188,000.Commissioners will review those bids and award the contract likely next week. It will be a quick turnaround for the contractor since the deadline to complete construction is July 5th.Beilharz Architects designed the senior and veterans pavilion.
