APRIL UNEMPLOYMENT AROUND OHIO HITS STUNNING LEVELS

There were some stunningly low unemployment rates around the Buckeye State in April; but Henry County had the highest jobless rate in the region.With the state average dropping to 3.3% in unemployment, only Henry County was higher than that figure in the entire 6-county region.Henry County checked-in at 3.9% for last month, dropping from 5.6% in March.Both Fulton and Defiance Counties checked-in with jobless rates at 3.2%, and Williams County fell to 2.5% for their unemployment, matching Putnam County.Fulton County recorded a drop from 4.7 to 3.2% in the monthly comparison.Around the state, the lowest unemployment for April was Mercer County at 1.9%.And Monroe County on the West Virginia border was highest in the state at 6.9%.
