TINORA SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT RETIRING AT END OF 2019

One of the longest serving educators in northwest Ohio will be stepping down as superintendent of Northeastern Local Schools this year.Jim Roach is completing his 45th year in education, and 39th at Tinora School; but has announced his retirement from the district effective December 31st 2019.Roach has been superintendent of Tinora School for the past 23 years, and thanked the board of education for their support over that span.He pointed to passage of the bond issue for the new school, and coming to the Northeastern schools as significant events in his life.In his letter to the district and staff, Superintendent Roach reports he is looking forward to continued work on the new facility for students and residents of Tinora.
