DEFIANCE MAN INDICTED BY LOCAL GRAND JURY FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER

A Defiance man has been indicted for attempted murder by the Defiance County Grand Jury, following an alleged domestic incident that occurred at a residence on South Clinton Street in Defiance on September 30th. 55 year old Kellis Hatton, Jr. of Defiance was indicted for Attempted Murder, along with two counts of Domestic Violence. Law officers were alerted to the incident, when Hatton showed up at a local emergency room with stab wounds. Kellis Hatton has a previous conviction for Domestic Violence.

There were nearly 20 persons indicted by the Defiance County Grand Jury that met on October 6th, including 68 year old Gene A. Seiple of Defiance, indicted on two counts of Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter involving a Minor, and on 5 counts of Illegal Use of a Minor or Impaired Person in Nudity-Oriented Material or Performance.
