It’s been a record-breaking year for scholarship money handed out to area students from Northwest State Community College. Just over $1,000,000 was awarded to 313 students across the region that are looking improve their career chances and upgrade their education. Students and donors were welcomed to an event at the Northwest State campus last week. The Northwest State Community College Foundation coordinates the giving from donors to the scholarship recipients. The foundation has been helping to provide an affordable path to an education for area residents for over 40 years.
