NW OHIO PRIMARY ELECTION RECAP 2022 (UNOFFICIAL RESULTS)

Though voter turnout was light in the 2022 primary election around northwest Ohio, residents supported school levies on the ballot. In Defiance County, the Ayersville Local Schools had two issues before voters, and both were approved. Central Local Fairview had a renewal levy on the ballot that was supported by voters.  And Hicksville said ‘yes’ to a renewal levy for fire and EMS on Tuesday.

In Fulton County, the Wauseon School District got support for a 1.75% earned income tax by a nearly 60% margin.  A 2% income tax had been turned down by Wauseon voters.   Renewal levies were approved for the Evergreen and Swanton Schools in Fulton County.  And the county-wide Fulton County Board of DD renewal levy was approved with solid support.    The village of Archbold said ‘yes’ to an increase in the income tax for police. And the Archbold Public Library replacement levy was approved.          Delta village residents said ‘no’ to an advisory for medical marijuana cultivation in the community.
