HICKSVILLE PRINCIPAL TABBED FOR SUPT. POSITION AT FOUR COUNTY CAREER CENTER

There will be a new superintendent at the Four County Career Center beginning January 1, 2023; and a Defiance County native will take over that administrative position. At a special meeting of the Four County Career Center Board of Education Tuesday night, Jeff Slattery was selected to replace Tim Meister. Meister is retiring at the end of 2022, after 10 years as superintendent.  Jeff Slattery will take-over the top spot at Four County, leaving as high school principal at Hicksville Local Schools.  Slattery also has experience as a teacher in the Dekalb Eastern Schools of Butler, Indiana. And before that, he was executive director for Trilogy Health Services of Lima.

Jeff Slattery is a graduate of Hicksville High School, and earned a master’s degree from BGSU. He lives in Hicksville with his wife, Jaimee and their three children.
