DEFIANCE COUNTY LAW OFFICERS SEEKING ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS

Law officers in Defiance County are searching for two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the village of Hicksville early Saturday morning.  According to Hicksville Police Chief Mark Denning, at 1:32am Saturday, two black male subjects entered the Shell Spee-D-Mart, brandishing guns, and demanding money. The suspects took cash, and lottery tickets, then fled on foot. The Defiance County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit was able to track the subjects to a location where it’s believed they fled in a vehicle.

The description of the suspects includes one male at 6’ to 6’2 in height, wearing a black hoody, black pants, along with black and white tennis shoes, wearing a Cleveland Indians flat bill cap, and a facemask.     The second suspect was 5’7 to 5’9, wearing diamond stud earrings, with facial hair, dark blue pants, with a small Nike logo pattern. This suspect was wearing a long-sleeved shirt-dark blue in color, with a black flat-bill hat with red brim and red lettering.        The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.    Contact Hicksville Police if you saw anything suspicious Friday night into early Saturday, at 419-542- 6661. You can also message Hicksville Police on their Facebook page, where there are photos of the suspects.
