Believe it or not, Spring Break season is upon us, and there’s no doubt a lot of people have either already gone away, or are planning a trip in the coming weeks. So, where is everyone going? Well, according to travel insurance provider Allianz Global Assistance, if you want to avoid crowds, Orlando and Cancun are the two places to stay away from.
Domestically, about 8.62% of travelers are headed to Orlando for Spring Break, with Las Vegas a distant second (5.29%), followed by Phoenix (4.38%) and Fort Lauderdale. (4.3%). Cancun, Mexico tops the list for international destinations with 16.73% of travelers headed there, followed by Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (5.27%) and San Juan, Puerto Rico (4.84%).

And for those who want to avoid the busiest time to travel, it would be smart to avoid March 11th, which was deemed the busiest travel day for both domestic and international trips, with March 2nd coming in second.
