Top Airlines & Hotels For Customer Satisfaction

Nobody wants to go on vacation and be less than satisfied with the service they experience. Well, booking the right airline and hotel can go a long way towards guaranteeing a great trip, and now a new report can help make sure you’re making the right decisions for your upcoming getaway.

The 2017 Temkin Experience Ratings, an annual customer experience ranking of companies based on a survey of 10,000 U.S. consumers, has just been released revealing the top Airlines and Hotels for customer satisfaction.

When it comes to airlines, Southwest took the top spot for yet another year, with a satisfaction rating of 73%. Just how good is Southwest? Well, since the rankings began in 2011 they missed the top spot only one time, in 2015 when they were eclipsed by JetBlue.

Top Airlines For Customer Satisfaction 

  • Southwest Airlines: 73%

  • AirTran Airways: 70%

  • Virgin America: 69%

  • JetBlue Airlines: 69%

  • Alaska Airlines: 68%

  • United Airlines: 66%

  • US Airways: 65%

  • American Airlines: 62%

  • Delta Airlines: 62%

  • Spirit Airlines: 50%

As for hotels, Courtyard By Marriott earned top honors out of 23 hotels with a score of 78%, with Fairfield Inn, Marriott, and Radisson all tying for second place with a score of 76%.
