What Fans Ate in Minneapolis Last Night

Folks lucky enough to attend last night’s Super Bowl at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, not only got to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but many of them also got to chow down on some yummy game day food.

Just like any other event at the stadium, there was a lot of food served at concession stands, and the stadium was more than prepared to feed all the football fans.

So, how much food do they need to feed a hungry crowd? Well, last night's inventory included:

  • 10,000 peanuts
  • 11,000 sandwiches (burgers, pulled pork, hand-carved)
  • 6,500 pretzels
  • 7,000 nachos
  • 9,000 chicken tenders
  • 2,600 lbs of cheese curds
  • 3,000 lbs of chicken
  • 1,000 lbs of shrimp
  • 1,000 lbs of fruit
  • 2,000 lbs of veggies
  • 650 gallons of ketchup
  • 3,500 cups of coffee
