A lot of us probably feel like we are working all the time, and while that may be true for a lot of people, a new study reveals which cities really have the most overworked workforce.
A study by the mobile technology company Kisi reveals the most overworked cities in the U.S. looking 20 different factors, including things like how many hours people work each week, their commute times, vacation days taken, paid family leave offered and more.
With that in mind, the study finds that folks in Washington, DC are the most overworked, working about 43 hours a week on average, with nine vacation days taken and about a 35 minute commute each day. A major factor in DC topping the list is that folks in the city get no mandated paid leave, although that will change next year.

On the flipside, the city where folks have the best work/life balance is San Diego, California, where employees work only about 42 hours a week, take nine vacation days and have, on average, a 26 minute commute. They also earn high marks for California’s great paid family leave policy.
