Are you traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday? Good luck! But if you want to try and beat the crowds, travel experts say the best day to fly out is tomorrow (Saturday). The second best day? Thanksgiving day itself. The worst days to travel? The Sunday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Going home … The day after Thanksgiving, aka Black Friday, is the best day to go back home. Finally … a majority of people don’t care if their boss is male or female. For the first time ever, a new Gallup poll has found that 55% of Americans now say they have no preference of gender when it comes to a boss. Another first: People were basically spit as far as preferring one gender over another in a manager. 23% preferred a male boss and 21% preferred a female boss. By comparison, back in 1953, 66% preferred a male boss while only 5% preferred a female one. (Moneyish

No surprise … A survey found that 40% of employees said they called in sick over the last year when they were perfectly healthy. Sort of surprising: A lot of those fakers are getting busted by their employers. The CareerBuilder survey found that 38% of employers checked up on a “sick” worker, and 26% said they had fired someone they discovered had given a fake excuse. So how are these not-really-sick employees getting caught? Social media. 43% of employers surveyed said they discovered an employee was lying about being sick after checking out their social media accounts. (Moneyish

Barbie is going to have its first hijab-wearing doll. The new Barbie is modeled after Olympic fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad, the first American to compete and win a medal in the Olympics while wearing a hijab. Muhammad, who won a Bronze medal in the 2016 Summer Olympics, tweeted: "Thank you @Mattel for announcing me as the newest member of the @Barbie #Shero family! I'm proud to know that little girls everywhere can now play with a Barbie who chooses to wear hijab! This is a childhood dream come true." The new doll, which comes in full fencing gear, including a sword, will be available in 2018. (Redbook
