Katelyn Brown shared a sweet reaction when RaeLynn tried to make her proud during a recent performance in Los Angeles, California.
RaeLynn joined Katelyn’s husband, award-winning artist Kane Brown, on the “I Can Feel It” star’s ongoing “In The Air Tour.” Katelyn couldn’t attend the L.A. stop on Saturday evening (August 24), so RaeLynn stepped in to sing her part on the husband-and-wife duo’s romantic duet, “Thank God.” The heartfelt song appeared on Kane’s Different Man album in September 2022. The 17-track project also included “Bury Me in Georgia,” “Like I Love Country Music,” “Grand,” “One Mississippi” and more. “Thank God” won in the Video of the Year category at the 2023 CMT Music Awards last year.
“Just tryin to make my best friend [Katelyn Brown] proud in Los Angeles 🩷,” RaeLynn wrote in her caption as she shared a video of the performance on Instagram on Sunday (August 25). Katelyn replied in the comments: “You are fabulous 🔥🩷🙌🏼 get it mama.”
Most recently, Kane has released his Phil Collins-inspired single, “I Can Feel It,” “Fiddle in the Band,” and his rendition of “Georgia on My Mind.” He performed the Ray Charles classic when he took the stage at the 59th ACM Awards earlier this year in Texas. Kane has been hinting at his next chapter in his career. He shared a sneak peek of an unreleased song on Instagram on Monday morning (August 26), writing in his caption that he’s “so excited for the songs on this album! 🔥.” Kane has also shared sneak peeks of unreleased duets with Katelyn, following “Thank God.”
Kane and Katelyn welcomed Baby No. 3, the first son in the family, in June. Katelyn said in the weeks after Baby No. 3’s arrival that she’s focusing on her newborn, so she didn’t plan to join Kane on tour unless it involved “easy” and “short” travel. Baby No. 3, son Krewe Allen Brown, arrived on June 18. Katelyn shared a sweet video of the moment her two young daughters — Kingsley Rose, 4, and Kodi Jane, 2 — met their new baby brother for the first time. She said “they love him so much,” and “it’s the best seeing them with him!”
