LIBERTY CENTER COUNCIL SWEARS-IN NEW MEMBER, SETS UNLIMITED SPRING DROPOFF

Village Council in Liberty Center has filled a seat vacated with the recent passing of member Stacy Williams. Jordan Bennett was sworn-in to that Liberty Center Council seat Monday, and will serve through 2027.    That’s when the seat is up for re-election.

Unlimited Spring drop-off for Liberty Center residents is set for May 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the Creager property.   Hours Thursday and Friday of that week will be 8am till 5pm, and from 9am till 2pm on Saturday, May 3rd.

Due to inclement weather, the Liberty Center water tower rehab project has been pushed back to later in the month.  This is a 40 to 45 day construction, but no water interruptions for residents are anticipated.

                       Paving of Mary Ann Street in Liberty Center is on-hold, with more surveying work needed.                                Council is waiting to see if they can secure more grant dollars for the Liberty Center restroom project at the park.

           And the community Easter Egg hunt is scheduled for this Saturday at the Fireman’s Park along county road 8 in Liberty Center, beginning at 11am.
